I was born in 1981 in Santiago, Chile.

I studied painting and sculpture in Chile and Mexico, and ceramics for more than 10 years with my aunt, the ceramist Pilar Correa A. Later, I joined the workshop on art analysis and criticism run by the Chilean artist Eugenio Dittborn, and following his advice, I left Chile. Since 2017, I have been living and working in Berlin.

Drawing inspiration from a wide variety of media, I combine artistic imagination with experimental research based on my interest in astrology, divination, mystical icons and sacred geometry. I work with cork, ceramics, sculptural assemblages, watercolours, paintings, stainless steel, wood, and site-specific installations to create joyful images derived from a visual vocabulary that encompasses ancestral traditions containing ritualistic narratives and elements of concrete art.

The wide variety of my training and research translates into a multifaceted artistic approach. I studied Visual Arts in Chile and Mexico, where I also studied dance. I have completed several residencies in places such as HANGAR Lisbon, Palazzo Monti in Brescia, Taller Bloc in Chile, and IAM (Institüt Für Alles Mögliche) in Germany.

I often revisit Latin American symbols, including Andean icons and Mayan calendars, to connect them with certain healing practices through the use of colour and the beautiful idea of a universal harmony for this crazy world.

I have expanded my practice by engaging with new materials and perspectives. My work invites reflection on history, time, and how ancient icons can offer alternative perspectives on reality, reflecting the diversity of the contemporary world in a reimagined spirituality.
