They said that; Above is Below as the Sun is to the Moon; it is a sequence of successive images that recreate a Chakana or Andean Cross; a recurring symbol in the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Andes. This ancestral image houses a spiritual connection with the cosmos, as it represents a unifying element, acting as a ladder or bridge between two elements, creating a relationship of correspondence between the high and the low, the human being and the higher, the sacred and the profane, the earth and the universe.

Through this sacred symbol, I am interested in highlighting the connection that our ancestors had with the earth and the universe, thus attempting, from the simplicity of its structure and the content of its poetics, to reflect on how we currently manipulate and neglect natural resources.
